Honda RAF Reserves Racing Team

Honda (UK) have once again committed to supporting the Royal Air Force Reserves Racing project for the 2013 season. The team officially named RAF Reserves Racing in association with Honda will compete in the British Superstock 1000 Championship, as well as selected road races, including the world famous Isle of Man TT and Northwest 200, aboard their RAF Reserves Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade.

New BMW R 1200 GS launching @ Gohtong Jaya

We have been invited for the event on last Saturday, 8 June 2013. This time the "GS playground" were taking place in Gohtong Jaya, Genting Highlands. A great and well-known place for Sunday ride to all bikers our there. 

With the theme of Mongolia Tour, there are bikes for testing, energy Red Bull drinks, food and a free gift! Thanks to BMW Motorrad Malaysia.

There was a stage show of Mongolian dancing and few tents available with the Mongolian decorates. BMW Motorrad is urging you to travel by GS and conquer the road with their new mighty GS R1200 and all new look of GSA800. 

“It is good to have an end to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters, in the end.” As I spoken to few GS owners, I can feel the great riding experience associate with this great adventure machine.

But to me, the new BMW GSA800 looks awesome and so cool!

Ducati Welly Sungai Buloh opens

PETALING JAYA: Ducati Malaysia has expanded its network today with the first opening of Ducati Welly Sungai Buloh. 

 

This follows on from Ducati Malaysia having opened Asia’s largest Ducati Centre in our own back yard of Petaling Jaya and with its first dealership network expansion it marks the start of bigger things to come.

At the launch was Ducati Asia commercial director, Pierfranceso Scalzo; Naza Two Wheels Division vice president Nik Danial Nik Mahmood; Ducati Club Malaysia president  Nageb Abdul Majid and Ducati Welly Sungai Buloh owner/ operator Ngo Yoke Kwang.
 

Under the scorching heat, the doors of the new Ducati dealership was opened to reveal the lifestyle floor where apparels, riding gear and a few Ducati motorcycles were on display. The back of the building is the service centre. 

 

A staircase located towards the front of the entrance leads to the second level where a greater assortment of Ducati bikes can be found such as the Panigale, Diavel, Monster and the Multistrada.

The new Ducati dealership is located at Jalan 3/1, Batu ½, Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh, 47000 Selangor. Opening hours are from 9am to 7pm daily.

In conjunction with the store opening, Ducati Malaysia also unveiled the special edition Ducati Multistrada ABS China Adventure.

The bike and its rider will be taking part in a 23-day, 14-bike convoy that will travel 5,168km from Tianjin to Dalian in north-eastern China.

Proguard levers protection

Mainly for racing applications, this front brake protector is now compulsory in MotoGP. It is basically was developed to prevent a fall caused by accidental bumping of the brake or clutch lever. Preventing unintentional actuation of the clutch lever which might cause a dangerous situation like traction/idle/traction of the wheel. 

• The mounting hardware is made of an aluminium-silicon-magnesium alloy.
• The guard section is made of a resilient plastic material, resistant to atmospheric exposures, which can flex in the event of impact. Which is also lighter than the stainless steel.
• Sold as a pair, each side includes an extra plastic guard.
